Submitted by: Shannon of Las Vegas, Nevada on 12/11/2003 Really makes a difference I started taking this supplement as a way to ensure I received enough healthful Omega-3s in my diet, but noticed a marked and unexpected improvement in my mental outlook as well which, after some research, I believe to be due to increased levels of DHA in this product. Now I take it daily and though I wasn't expecting it as I was taking this supplement for long term health benefits rather than short term immediately noticable improvement, I feel physically and mentally better. Before becoming vegan I took fish oil for the same reason, and although this product does have a momentarily unpleasant taste when swallowed, it quickly goes away and there is none of the yucky "fish-burp" effect often experienced with fish oil, a good reason to recommend it to even non-vegans. Submitted by: Brian I've tried a few different vegan Omega-3 supplements and this one has virtually no fishy taste or the "fish-burp" effect of even some other vegan O3 supplements. I think this is far and away the best DHA supplement you can get because each vegicap also has 300mg of DHA, and many others have far less per capsule.
